We Work Solely for You
Rainier Care Navigation is a private business working directly for our clients. Because you pay us directly, we have absolutely no conflicts of interest. We do not answer to hospitals, doctors' groups, or the government. Our only goal is to facilitate the best, most efficient, and most compassionate care possible for you and your loved ones.
Pricing & Payment
What are your fees?
Our general rate is $150 per hour. However, because every healthcare situation is unique, various other options and tailored packages are available depending on your specific advocacy needs. We will discuss these options with you before any agreement is made.
Does insurance cover independent advocacy?
No, health insurance policies currently do not cover independent patient advocacy. While this means an out-of-pocket cost, it is also the very reason we can remain entirely independent. It gives us the freedom to advocate fiercely for your best interests without insurance restrictions or limitations dictating your care.
Do I need to pay in advance?
Yes. Payment is required in advance for our services. This allows us to focus our complete energy and time on helping you and coordinating your care, rather than managing billing and invoices during an already stressful time.
How are hourly rates billed?
For transparency and fairness, all hourly rates are billed in 15-minute increments (rounded up or down to the nearest 15-minute mark).
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, and all major credit or debit cards. For your privacy and security, please note that all digital payments are processed safely through our encrypted, HIPAA-compliant patient portal.
What if I need help, but cannot afford it?
We firmly believe that everyone deserves assistance and a strong advocate by their side. We have an as-available program for our local community in which we accept clients at reduced rates or on a pro bono basis.
