Rainier Care Navigation is a small, independent patient advocacy firm based in Tacoma, Washington. We focus on helping patients and their families make sense of a fragmented and often overwhelming medical system. From understanding new health conditions to coordinating with multiple specialists, we serve as your personal guide, translator, and supporter.
We bring decades of firsthand, inside experience from working within major hospital systems. Because we understand exactly how the healthcare machine operates, we know how to navigate it effectively from the outside. We work strictly for our clients—not for hospitals or insurance companies—ensuring that our only priority is facilitating the best possible care, communication, and outcomes for you.

Michael Badajos, RCP
Co-Founder & Independent Advocate
Experienced therapist of 15 years. Worked in major trauma surgery at UC Davis and heart/lung transplant surgery at UCSF. now works as an inpatient (hospital) care navigator for Virginia Mason Franciscan Health.
Denise Rochman, RCP
Co-Founder & Independent Advocate
Experienced therapist of 20+ years, and has worked in every inpatient setting including intensive care, acute care, and inpatient rehab, covering all age groups from birth to the elderly.
Our Role in Your Care Journey
What We Provide:
We act as your dedicated coordinators and communicators. We specialize in Medical and Bedside Advocacy, Care Coordination, Transitions of Care, Patient Education, and End-of-Life/Advanced Care Planning. Our goal is to empower you with clarity so you can confidently manage your health.
What We Do Not Provide:
While we are deeply experienced medical professionals, in our role as independent advocates, we do not provide direct clinical or medical care, nor do we make medical decisions for you. Additionally, our scope of practice does not include mental health services, pediatric care, addiction treatment, or VA system navigation.
